GREAT LOCAL RESTAURANT

“Lily’s is located in the small town of Bruderheim (“an Oasis in the Industrial Heartland”). It’s somewhat near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and close to the industrial plant that I sometimes visit on business. One of Bruderheim’s claims to fame was a short visit by Queen Victoria years ago who came through on the train. A small park in her honour is located adjacent to the tracks.

Lily’s is one of those local places where you get good old-fashioned service, good food in larger quantities, and a good cross-section of local folks. I have always enjoyed my lunches here.”

DINE-IN OR TAKEOUT? NO PROBLEM!

“This restaurant is a gem in the middle of nowhere. The servers are friendly and helpful. The tableware is classy, seating is comfortable, and even the restrooms are nice. Their style of cooking is good and flavorful without being salty. The clam chowder is excellent and highly recommended. Actually, they serve a different soup everyday and each one has been very good, so I never miss a chance to order soup whether it’s part of my meal or not. Lily’s has free WiFi so you stay connected during your visit. On the weekend that I came, I noticed that people have phoned in their pizza order - I have yet to try those, but it must be good as patrons would order 3 or more boxes for takeout. Whether you do takeout or dine-in, this one is definitely a keeper!"
